Dr. Queenie Xue, the newest addition to the Thunder Bay Eye Care team, brings a fresh perspective and a commitment to comprehensive eye care. Born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Dr. Xue embarked on her academic journey at the University of Waterloo, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees, graduating in 2023.

Her clinical training included a significant placement in Smithers, British Columbia, where she honed her skills in a rural setting. This experience afforded her a unique exposure to a wide array of ocular diseases, enriching her practice with a diverse clinical background. After completing her education, Dr. Xue chose to move to Thunder Bay in 2023, driven by her passion to practice full-scope optometry.

At Thunder Bay Eye Care, Dr. Xue is dedicated to applying her knowledge and skills to provide excellent care. Her recent arrival marks an exciting new chapter for our team, as she embodies the fresh energy and advanced approach to eye health that Thunder Bay Eye Care is known for.
